The IAFOR Documentary Photography Award, established by the International Academic Forum (IAFOR), is accepting entries on the theme “Reclaiming the future.”
Most of the images should explore challenges in the 21st century and have been made during 2018-2019. Images taken earlier than 2018 may be allowed if they are part of a photo-essay. Contestants must be 30 years old or younger or enrolled in part-time or full-time education.
The first place winner typically receives GBP1,000 (US$1,230), a grant and a scholarship to attend the IAFOR conference and other prizes. There are also prizes for second and third place winners and honorable mentions.
The deadline is Nov. 25.
