Deadline approaching : ICFJ seeks applicants for Investigative journalism workshop [Mexico]

Investigative journalists residing in Mexico with at least three years of experience can apply for this program in Spanish.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ)'s Investigative Reporting Initiative in the Americas (IRIA) project, in partnership with Connectas, is organizing an investigative journalism workshop Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 in Mexico City.

The program will provide tools to launch collaborative investigations as well as training in physical and digital security.

Applicants must submit a reporting proposal. Some of the projects may be eligible to apply for the ICFJ-Connectas investigative reporting grant next year.

The training is free. Journalists living outside CDMX will receive round trip tickets to the city and accommodation and food.

The deadline is Oct. 9.
