LASA members and journalists across the region are invited to nominate candidates for this award.The Latin American Studies Association announces the 2020 LASA Media Award for outstanding media coverage of Latin America.
These awards recognize long-term journalistic contributions to analysis and public debate about Latin America both in the United States and Latin America, as well as breakthrough journalism.
Nominees are accepted in several categories: Lifetime Achievement, books, media, article and more. The winners will be honored at the annual LASA Congress May 2020 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The deadline is Sept. 20.
