Docudays UA seeks film entries on human rights [Worldwide]

Documentary filmmakers worldwide who focus on human rights can submit their works to this contest.

The Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, organized by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, will take place March 20 to 29, 2020 in Kiev, Ukraine.

Categories include jury award docu/right, docu/world (the international competition of feature- and medium-length documentaries longer than 30 minutes), docu/short (films up to 30 minutes long) and the national category docu/Ukraine. The winners in these categories will receive cash prizes of US$1,000.

There are also the Andrei Matrosov prize, special award from the jury "Rights now!" and the student jury award of US$1,000 each.

Competitive films must have been produced in 2018 and 2019.

The first deadline is Nov. 20. The second and final deadline is Dec. 10.
