Portal Negócios da Comunicação hosts Community journalism meeting [Brazil]

Journalists and others interested in community journalism are invited to attend this daylong event.

Portal Negócios da Comunicação and the Center for Communication Studies at the University of São Paulo (Cecom, in Portuguese), with institutional support from Abraji, organize the 2nd Regional and Community Journalism Forum on Sept. 3 in São Paulo.

The program will feature four panels on topics such as the role of social media, the "digital first" mindset and the importance of local journalism.

Admission is free by donating 1 kilo of non-perishable food.

Registration is open, but spots are limited.
