Gabo Foundation offers Nonfiction book workshop [Latin America]

Latin American journalists working on a nonfiction book can apply to attend this workshop.

The Gabo Foundation,  the Oaxaca International Book Fair and UNAM are organizing a nonfiction book workshop Oct. 21 to 27 in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Eight journalists will have the opportunity to discuss their long-term projects and identify the weaknesses and strengths of their written work. The program will be led by Argentine journalist and writer Martin Caparrós.

The registration fee is US$500 for selected participants. The Oaxaca International Book Fair Foundation will offer accommodation, international medical insurance and partial ticket reimbursement for participants outside Mexico, as well as meals.

The deadline is Sept. 16.
