Center hosts Webinar on employer's health insurance [US]

Journalists interested in health reporting are invited to attend this free program.

The Center for Health Journalism at the University of Southern California will host the webinar "Is employee health insurance failing Americans?" at 2 p.m. EDT on July 23.

The hour long webinar will focus on the crisis in employer coverage, in which employers have shifted costs onto workers as U.S. health care costs continue to climb.

The panelists are Noam N. Levey, staff writer at the Los Angeles Times; Larry Levitt, executive vice president for health policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation; and Dr. Arnold Milstein, medical director of the Pacific Business Group on Health and director of the Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford’s School of Medicine.
