The Poynter Institute offers Journalism Fellowship [US]

Aspiring and entrepreneurial journalists can apply for this career accelerator program.

The Poynter Institute and the Charles Koch Institute (CKI) have launched the Poynter-Koch Media & Journalism Fellowship.

Fellows will be placed in the newsroom of a participating organization and attend in-person training as a group three times throughout the yearlong program. They will have access to faculty in the field and courses on First Amendment law, foundations of a free press, media ethics, reporting/storytelling techniques and more.

A total of 45 early-career journalists will be selected.

The deadline to apply is May 10.
