Intercom calls for papers on Communication flows, crisis of democracy [Brazil]

Academics, students and communication professionals can attend this event.

The Brazilian Society of Interdisciplinary Communication Studies (Intercom) will host the 42nd Brazilian Congress of Communication Sciences Sept. 2 to 7 in Belém.

This year's theme will be "Communication flows and the crisis of democracy." The program will include workshops, mini-courses, working groups, exhibitions and presentations.

The research groups are grouped by themes: journalism, advertising and publicity, public relations and organizational communication, audiovisual communication, multimedia, communication interfaces, communication, space and citizenship, and interdisciplinary communication studies.

Those interested in submitting a paper have until June 28. The regular deadline is Aug. 8. Discounts are available for early registration.
