Counter Academy offers journalism fellowship [MENA]

Journalists, activists and students can apply for this yearlong fellowship.

The Counter Academy for Arab Journalism is accepting applications for its new journalism fellowship in partnership with four independent organizations: 7iber, Mada Masr, Al Jumhuriya and Sawt, and funded by the international Media Support (IMS).

Fellows will participate in educational meetings, starting with a bootcamp in September, and online learning courses, followed by a training period in the offices of the four organizations.

The program approaches journalism with depth and regards it as a craft that can't be separated from humanities, social sciences and the political, historical and cultural contexts.

The organizers will cover travel and accommodations related to the program.

The deadline is May 31.
