Public Journalism Club offers contest on human rights issues [Armenia]

Journalists and photographers can enter a contest focusing on the human rights situation in closed institutions, special schools and special care institutions as well as in the army of Armenia.

The Public Journalism Club (PJC), in partnership with Armenia's Investigative Reporters, is hosting the contest as part of the project "A public glimpse into a closed world: human rights situation in closed institutions in Armenia," financed by the European Union and co-funded by the Open Society Foundations.

Works can be in Armenian, Russian or English and must have been published or broadcast in print, podcast, radio, TV, online or multimedia formats from Nov. 1, 2017 to Nov. 15, 2018.

The categories include investigative reporting, feature story, photo story and more.

Winners will receive cash prizes ranging from AMD150,000 to AMD300,000.

The deadline is Nov. 15.
