Documentary workshop accepting submissions [Latin America]

Documentary filmmakers residing in Latin America can apply to attend this workshop.

The Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI) organizes an intensive documentary workshop March 6 to 10, 2019 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

The workshop is a space for work, development and networking for documentarians with Latin American projects in an advanced stage and with high potential for distribution in the international market.

Original documentary feature projects are eligible. Projects must already have at least 30 percent of their financing secured.

Projects can win one of three special prizes: attendance at the Santiago Lab Documentary, SANFIC 2019 (Chile), attendance at DOCSP's DOC Lab (Brazil) and a post-production prize.

Ten projects will be selected. While the workshop is free, participants must pay for their own travel to Colombia.

The deadline is Dec. 20.
