Training program focuses on vulnerable children reporting [South Asia]

Journalists with at least one year of experience working in English can apply to attend this free program.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation is offering the course "Reporting on vulnerable children in care," as part of the Caring for Vulnerable Children in a Fractured World program.
The course will take place Oct. 1 to 5 in New Delhi, India. Participants will explore the risks faced by vulnerable children, and different domestic and international strategies to protect them. The training will provide practical skills, tools and strategies to report on this issue.
Journalists must work full-time for a media organization across South Asia or be freelancers whose main work is journalism.
Travel and subsistence costs of participating journalists will be covered.
The deadline is Sept. 21.
