NPF accepting applications for public health fellowship [US]

Journalists interested in public health can apply for this program.
The National Press Foundation is accepting applicants for a fellowship to attend a training on Nov. 13 in San Francisco, followed by a community health summit sponsored by Kaiser Permanent Nov. 14 to 15.
Selected journalists will learn about health issues such as economic inequity, affordable housing and mental health in the daylong training in preparation for covering the conference.
The fellowship will provide airfare, ground transportation, conference registration fees, hotel and most meals.
The deadline is Sept. 17.
