Media Defence offers contest on freedom of expression [Worldwide]

Anyone can enter this competition.
Media Defence seeks visual representations of some of the most important legal and human rights issues affecting independent journalists around the world for its Illustrating Freedom of Expression Competition.
Contestants must focus in one the following issues: administrative harassment and barriers; anonymity online; criminalization of speech e.g. criminal defamation; cybercrimes and internet regulation; fabricated charges; forced disclosure of sources; internet shutdowns and website blocking; national security; physical harassment, violence and torture; and physical restrictions.
Works can be any size, any style and in any visual medium: ink drawings, cartoon strips, collages, painting or sculpture.
The winning entries will be featured online and in print as part of Media Defence's 10-year anniversary.
The deadline is Sept. 16.
