LASA members and journalists across the region are invited to nominate candidates for this award.
The Latin American Studies Association announces the 2019 LASA Media Award for outstanding media coverage of Latin America.
These awards are made at the LASA Congress to recognize long-term journalistic contributions to analysis and public debate about Latin America both in the United States and Latin America, as well as breakthrough journalism. Journalists from both print and electronic media are eligible.
The deadline is Sept. 21.
