Study trip to Japan available for journalists [US]

Journalists with five to seven years of experience currently reporting on international/U.S. security and foreign affairs for U.S. or foreign media outlets can apply.
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) in partnership with Sasakawa USA, has launched the Emerging Experts Delegation (SEED) Program 2018.
The program will select eight U.S. journalists to participate in a weeklong trip to Japan focused on the theme "modernization of Japan's defense strategy and implications for the United States and the Asia-Pacific region."
Participants in the delegation will be expected to complete a post-trip survey and submit a brief article or blog post with their impressions of the trip. 
Sasakawa USA will cover airfare, accommodation, transportation and per diem.
The deadline is Aug. 15.
