Journalists around the world whose reporting focuses on Russia can be nominated for this award.
Open Russia is accepting entries for the "Journalism as a Profession" award.
Russian and foreign journalists are eligible. Entries must have been published or aired between Nov. 1, 2017 and Oct. 15, 2018 by Russian or international media.
The contest is held in five Russian-language categories: investigative journalism, reporting, interview + portrait, opinion journalism, regional media and new media.
The winners in each category will receive a cash prize.
The deadline is Oct. 15.
