Journalism fellowships open [Africa}

Journalism students and community journalists can apply can apply for a fellowship to attend this conference.
The African Investigative Journalism Conference, organized by the Journalism Program of Wits University, will take place Oct. 29 to 31 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The event will feature 50 panels, training sessions, keynotes and workshops with investigative reporters, editors and producers from the African continent and the United States.
There are 20 student fellowships available for students from South African universities and 10 fellowships for community newspaper journalists who are members of the Association of Independent Publishers.
The fellowships will cover travel, accommodations, local transportation, meals and conference fees. 
The fellowship deadline is Aug. 31.
