Amazon launches journalists nonfiction competition [Brazil]

Individuals ages 18 and older residing in Brazil can compete for a prize.
Amazon.com.br, in partnership with Jornalistas & Cia and Editora Record, has launched a book-reportage competition.
There are two awards available: the Amazon Book-Reportage Prize, intended for a journalistic book written in Brazilian Portuguese, and the Book-Reportage University Highlight, for nonfiction work or a capstone paper written by journalism students or journalists who graduated after December 2015.
The winner of the Book-Reportage Prize will receive BRL10,000 and will have his or her e-book printed by Editora Record. The winner of the Book-Reportage University Highlight will be awarded BRL5,000.
Contestants must publish their works on Amazon through the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) tool.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
