Workshops on social issues open [MENA]

Journalists, academics and students from the Arab world are invited to submit their papers.
The Bobst Center for Peace and Justice at Princeton University and the Social Science Experimental Laboratory (SSEL) at New York University Abu Dhabi invite candidates to submit their paper/research design to the Winter Experimental Social Sciences Institute (WESSI) Workshops at American University of Beirut (Oct, 26 to 27) and New York University Abu Dhabi (Jan, 21 to 23, 2019).
Each workshop aims to give social science PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and junior assistant professors in experimental social science the opportunity to present their research designs and work in progress and receive personal feedback from noted scholars in the field. Each will also enable students to attend presentations by these mentors. Mentors will present their own research, and each student will receive feedback from two mentors.
The workshops are organized by Rebecca Morton and Amaney Jamal
The travel and accommodation expenses of junior scholars whose proposals are accepted will be covered.
The deadline is July 1.
