Registration for investigative journalism summer school ongoing [Balkans]

Journalists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia with at least three years of experience in journalism are eligible for a scholarship to attend this training. 
The BIRN Summer School of Investigative Reporting is organizing a course in investigative journalism for experienced journalists Aug. 19 to 25 in Poiana Brasov, Romania.
The course will feature sessions on where and how to dig for data, how to make people to talk to you, how to best present a story – and how to use video in journalism. Participants will work on story ideas and be able to obtain funds for their investigations, raning from EUR1,000 to EUR3,000.
Journalists from non-Balkan countries can also enroll in the training. The cost is EUR750, which includes tuition, meals and accomodations. 
The scholarship deadline is July 15.
