The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University is seeking applications for the Anglo American Journalist Fellowship, the Google Digital News Journalist Fellowship and the Wincott Business Journalist Fellowship.
The Anglo American Journalist Fellowship is open to journalists in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia or Chile. Fellows will produce a research paper that falls broadly within the categories of transparency, accountability and/or sustainability.
The Google Digital News Journalist Fellowship is intended for journalists in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Turkey. Fellows will produce a research paper based on some aspect of either the Digital News Report survey data or digital journalism in their country.
The Wincott Business Journalist Fellowship is aimed at midcareer business journalists who live in Sub-Saharan Africa interested in taking a deeper look at one aspect of financial reporting.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience and working proficiency in English. Fellows receive a living allowance of GBP2,000 per month.
