The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) is looking for an associate editor. Preference will be given to applicants based in Johannesburg, South Africa, but candidates can be based anywhere with a strong broadband connection.
Responsibilities include working with managing editor and regional editors to manage; producing and uploading content for GIJN’s websites and social media platforms; writing and editing English language stories; and more.
Candidates must have social media managing skills, WordPress proficiency and an interest in investigative and data journalism. Experience in graphics production, digital storytelling, project management is a plus.
The deadline is June 15.
