Aspiring radio producers can apply for a scholarship to attend this training.
Transom, a platform for new public radio, will host its Fall 2018 Story Workshop Sept. 18 to Nov. 15 in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
During the residential program, participants will produce a vox-pop audio piece, a radio promo, a profile of a creative person, based on WCAI’s Ways of Life Series, a documentary feature; and one or more Sonic IDs.
The cost ranges from US$8,820 to U$9,495, depending on housing. Scholarships will be available based on financial need, with a focus on diverse voices.
The deadline is June 1.
