Media Conference highlights attacks on free press [Asia Pacific]

Media professionals are invited to attend this conference.
The East-West Center will host the sixth International Media Conference June 24 to 27 in Singapore. The event will be preceded by a two-day workshop on "Hoax-Busting and Online Verification" with trainers from Storyful, Google News Lab and Facebook.
The conference program will focus on cutting-edge media trends, disinformation, attacks on free press and other transformative stories in the Asia Pacific region. 
The early registration fee costs US$275, including workshops, the opening reception, keynote dinner, three lunches, a half-day city tour, coffee/tea/snack breaks and conference materials.

The regular registration fee is US$350. Registration is ongoing, but spots are limited.
