UONGOZI organizes essay contest [Africa]

African citizens ages 18 to 25 are invited to enter this contest.
The UONGOZI Institute of African Leadership for Sustainable Development is accepting entries for its annual Leadership Essay Competition.
This year, contestants must write about their perspective on leadership as it relates to development and transformation in Africa, answering the question: “If you were an African leader how would you finance development and transformation?”
Essays must be written in English.
The top five winners will receive cash prizes. The overall winner will be awarded US$2,000. They will travel to Kigali, Rwanda, to receive their awards at a ceremony to be held during the Africa Leadership Forum Dinner Gala on July 27. 
The submission deadline is May 18.
