Journalists and students who have produced investigative stories about Venezuela are eligible.
Instituto Prensa y Sociedad de Venezuela (IPYS Venezuela) seeks entries for the eighth edition of its National Investigative Journalism Contest, created to recognize the best press, television, radio and internet/multimedia investigations about Venezuela.
Works must have been produced in Spanish between March 16, 2016 and March 15, 2018. They may have been published or unpublished. Contestants must demonstrate reporting work in Venezuela. Books or thesis will not be accepted.
Three winners will receive cash prizes.
The deadline is May 1.
