Democracy Now! seeks fellow, interns [US]

Early-career journalists and students can apply for a fellowship or several internships.

Democracy Now! is hiring a social media fellow and interns in New York.

The fellowship is a full-time position, beginning Aug. 1 and lasting a year. Responsibilities include assisting with daily drafting, copyediting and posting stories, monitoring social media and trending news items, and more.

Interns are also paid but work 20 hours per week in the Archive, Democracy Now! en Español, Education, Outreach & Development and Social Media departments. The next internship session is July to December.

The deadline is May 6 for the social media fellowship and May 15 for the internships.
