The Cancer World Journalism Award seeks outstanding pieces of journalism that are changing the way people think about cancer.
The contest has four categories: patient and carer experience; research, science and treatment; policy, services and affordability; and prevention.
Works must have been published or broadcast between October 2016 and April 2018. Non-English entries must include an English translation.
Winners will receive EUR1,500 (US$1,835) in each category. The overall winner will attend the 2018 ECCO Summit in Vienna, Austria.
The deadline is May 1.
