Grants for investigative journalism available [Africa, China]

Journalists interested in investigating Africa-China relations can submit a reporting proposal.
The Africa-China Reporting Project at Wits Journalism is offering investigative journalism grants.
Proposals must focus on a single topic of interest within the broad Africa-China framework, including corporate activities, criminal networks, business links, health, public services, government dealings/engagements, aid and development assistance, the environment, agriculture, industrialization and more.
Projects that involve other partners and institutions are encouraged. The maximum budget is US$3,000.
The deadline is April 27.
