Professional journalists are invited to submit articles or videos/multimedia to this contest.
The Migration Media Award, organized by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development, is a competition for journalists covering migration in the Mediterranean region.
The contest has four categories: TV, radio, print and online. Entries must be in English, French or Arabic or include a translation into English, French or Arabic.
Works must have been published or aired between April 15, 2017 and May 15, 2018.
A total of 48 winners will be chosen. They will receive an EU-funded contract (EUR750) US$930 to (EUR7,000) US$8,686 to produce original reporting on a migration topic in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The deadline is May 15.
