Biodiversity, conservation fellowship available [Latin America]

Journalists with a record of reporting on scientific and/or environmental topics and English fluency can apply for a fellowship.
The Earth Journalism Network, in partnership with Arcadia, is selecting working journalists, particularly those from developing countries, for the biodiversity and conservation fellowship program at the inaugural Latin America and Caribbean Congress for ConservationLACCCB 2018) in Trinidad and Tobago.
Biology (
Selected participants will attend a workshop on July 24 on regional biodiversity issues, conservation solutions and journalism approaches. They will then spend July 25 to 27 at the conference, developing sources and story ideas, interviewing delegates, networking with journalists and reporting on news from conservation organizations, governments and researchers.
The organizers will provide travel, lodging and a daily allowance.
The deadline is April 5.
