BBC launches journalism trainee scheme [UK]

Journalists with some experience who want to broaden their broadcasting skills can apply for this program.
The BBC is launching the 2018 Journalism Trainee Scheme. The program is the flagship journalism entry and training scheme run by the BBC Academy. 
The traineeship starts in September 2018 and runs for 11 months. Trainees will be based at any of the BBC’s national or regional news centers across the United Kingdom, including London, Cardiff, Belfast and Salford.
Trainees receive GBP20,800 (outside London) or GBP25,360 (in London). The BBC also covers some travel and accommodation expenses during training periods.
The deadline to apply is April 4.
