East-West Center offers journalism fellowship [US, Asia Pacific]

Journalists in the United States, Asia and the Pacific Islands can apply for a fellowship.
The East-West Center presents the Jefferson Fellowships, a three-week seminar and travel program for journalists to broaden their understanding of Asia
Pacific issues and build a professional network.
The 2018 program will take place June 18 to July 10, focusing on "Populism, identity and the state of democracy in Southeast Asia."
Four to five U.S. journalists and seven to eight from Asia Pacific will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii; Singapore; Manila, Philippines; and Kuala Lumpur/Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Airfare, lodging, per diem and most other program expenses will be covered.
