Trasom offers scholarship for audio storytelling (US)

Aspiring radio producers can apply for a scholarship to attend this training.

Transom, a platform for new public radio, will host its Spring 2018 Story Workshop March 27 to May 24 in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.

During the residential program, participants will produce a vox-pop audio piece, a radio promo, a profile of a creative person, based on WCAI’s Creative Life Series, a documentary feature; and one or more Sonic IDs. 

The cost ranges from US$8,820 to U$9,495, depending on housing. Scholarships will be available based on financial need, with a focus on diverse voices.

The deadline is Dec. 1.
