Hearst Journalism Awards Program accepting journalism students Applications [US]

The Hearst Journalism Awards Program provides support, encouragement and assistance to journalism education at the university level. The program awards scholarships to students for outstanding performance in college-level journalism and matches the scholarships with grants to the students' schools.
Students must attend one of the following universities to be eligible.
Students may submit their work in five writing, two photojournalism, one radio broadcast, two television broadcast, and four multimedia competitions.
Each competition has more specific categories under it, and each category has a unique deadline. The deadlines will span from October to April.
The winners receive certificates and scholarship checks ranging from US1,000 to US$2,600, with matching grants to their journalism departments.
