FNPI offers nonfiction workshop [Latin America]

Image result for nonfictionJournalists with at least three years of experience writing nonfiction, literary journalism pieces, profiles and/or reportages in print or digital media can apply for this workshop.
The Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for a New Iberoamerican Journalism (FNPI) organizes the nonfiction workshop "Narrating the City" Dec. 4 to 8 in Panama City.
Participants will learn to search, find and write good stories about the city, and to identify and understand its social conflicts. The instructor is journalist Cristian Alarcón.
The workshop will accept 13 participants who will receive accommodation, airfare meals and an international medical insurance. The course fee is US$250.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 26.
