Journalists around the world whose reporting focuses on Russia can be nominated for this award.
Open Russia is accepting entries for the "Journalism as a Profession" award.
Russian and foreign journalists are eligible. Entries must have been published or aired between Jan. 1 to Oct. 31, 2017 by Russian or international media.
The contest is held in five Russian-language categories: investigative journalism, reporting, interview + portrait, opinion journalism, regional topics and photo story.
The winners in each category will receive a cash prize.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
