Mongabay seeks managing editor and staff writer [India]

Mongabay is looking for a staff writer and a managing editor in India.

The managing editor will build a news service covering conservation and environmental issues in India and oversee operations and article production for Mongabay-India. The selected candidate will manage assignments, edit articles, and ensure adherence to grant guidelines and reporting expectations. 

The staff writer will do original reporting on conservation and environmental issues in the country. The selected journalist will be responsible for developing and curating the content that appears on Mongabay-India’s website. 

Candidates must have two or more years of reporting experience, especially covering the environment. Access to the internet is required.
