Journalism workshop on urban environmental management open [Mexico]

The Fund for Communication and Environmental Education and the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation in Mexico (GIZ) organize the workshop on urban environmental management Oct. 2 to 4 in two locations: Mexico City and Valle de Bravo.
The workshop aims to train journalists and communicators on some of the most serious environmental problems facing cities and their effects among its population and surrounding regions. The training will include discussions with senior national experts, solution-oriented reporting exercises and a field visit.
Applicants must send two samples of work published in the past 12 months, a brief CV, a letter of interest and two letters of commitment. The cost of the workshop will be covered for all selected candidates.
The deadline is Sept. 15.
