The New York Times seeks Iraq bureau chief [MENA]

The New York Times is looking for an Iraq bureau chief editor to be based in Egypt or other countries such as the UAE. 
The bureau chief will focus primarily on Iraq. The ideal candidate must be someone who can bring energy, keen analysis and heart to all the facets of the Iraq story. The selected journalist will work with a team covering Syria, Turkey and Iran, among other places.
Candidates must have an entrepreneurial streak and thrive on news, investigative scoops and colorful features. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable, but not required.
