UC Berkeley's Investigative Reporting Program at the Graduate School of Journalism will host a professional workshop Oct. 22 to 24.
The training aims to elevate the journalistic standards of independent filmmakers, increase the impact of their stories and help them break new ground. Topics include interviewing and storytelling techniques; fairness; ethics; sources; and legal issues.
Tuition costs US$1,200. Full and partial scholarships are available, as well as travel stipends for those living outside the San Francisco Bay Area.
