Ugandan photographers and photojournalists can compete for an award.
The Foreign Correspondents’ Association of Uganda (FCAU), in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, is seeking entries for the Uganda Press Photo Award.
The contest has seven categories: news, daily life, creative, portrait, sports, nature and story. Images must have been taken between Sept. 1, 2016 and Sept. 1, 2017.
The overall winner will receive a Canon EOS 7D Mark II DSLR camera. There will be prizes for the runners-up.
The deadline for submissions is Sept. 1.
