Film festival seeks journalism entries [Russia]

Russian filmmakers and broadcast journalists who work at national and regional television newsrooms and journalism students are invited to compete.

The Russian Union of Journalists and the Central House of the Journalist organize the Moscow International Television Film Festival "Profession – Journalist." The event will take place Nov. 7 to 13 in Moscow.

Documentary films, talk shows, television programs and television reporting works of journalism students are all eligible. All submissions must be related to the theme of journalism or being a journalist.

Entries must have been released in 2016 or 2017 and not exceed 52 minutes. Winners will receive trophies and certificates.

The deadline is Oct. 1.
