Journalists and bloggers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan can participate in this summer program.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will host an international summer school "Media and information literacy: the new paradigms of intercultural dialogue" July 13 to 15 near the lake of Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan.
The program includes two parts: "Media and information literacy and cultural pluralism" and "Media and information literacy and rapprochement of cultures." The working languages of the school are Russian and Kazakh.
The tuition fee for students is KZT10,000 and for professional journalists, KZT15,000.
The deadline is July 9.
