NOOR Foundation and Soros Foundation Kazakhstan offer an intensive training on documentary photography and visual storytelling, which will take place Oct. 12 to 15 in Almaty.
Ten participants will have an opportunity to learn and develop the skills, tools and commitment needed to produce impactful visual storytelling. They will cover a social-interest photo story under the guidance of NOOR photographers Tanya Habjouqa and Sebastián Liste.
Candidates must have basic experience in photography and English or Russian fluency. The workshop will be conducted in English with translation available in Russian.
This program is free of charge and includes daily lunch and a welcome dinner. For participants residing outside of Almaty, return travel and accommodation in Almaty is also covered.
