Russian documentarians can compete in this contest.
Russia's national film and television competition Lavrovaya Vetv is accepting entries. The competition was established by the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation and the Documentary Film and Television Industry Guild.
Submitted films must have been produced in the last 18 months. Categories include best short documentary, best feature documentary, best debut and others.
Winners will receive trophies and possibly cash prizes.
The deadline for submissions is Sept. 1. Participation is free.
