IJNet Arabic has launched the fourth round of its virtual mentoring center for media entrepreneurs. Applicants must be working on digital media startups that target Arabic-speaking audiences.
The program will select 16 semi-finalists and then select eight participants from that pool. Participants will be paired with a mentor who will help them develop a plan to grow and sustain their startups over a one-year period. Training includes project management skills, social media strategies, digital innovation and business sustainability.
Besides attending virtual meetings and check-ins with their mentors, participants will receive full funding to travel to either Jordan or Lebanon to meet with their mentors in person. Midway through the program, the eight participants and the mentors will meet in Amman, Jordan, for a three-day bootcamp on entrepreneurship.
The deadline to apply is May 31.
