Fellowship for reporting in Germany available [China, Taiwan]

Journalists ages 28 to 38 from China and Taiwan can apply for this program.
Image result for IJPThe International Journalists‘ Programmes (IJP) are offering three fellowships for Asian journalists. The Asia Fellowship is intended to enable young journalists to gain insights into the political, economic, cultural and social fabric of the host country.
The first month of the fellowship comprises language training at the Goethe-Institute in Berlin. During the second month, Asian delegates will be integrated into the day-to-day journalism of their host newsroom while researching stories for their home media.
The delegates will receive a fixed payment of EUR3,800 to cover most of their travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Candidates must have a strong command of English. German is an advantage but not mandatory.
The deadline is June 30.
